About the MidCoast Wedding Expo

This year we want you to be inspired to create the wedding of your dreams. That’s exactly what the 2nd Annual Midcoast Wedding Expo can help you accomplish on Sunday, March 9th, 2008. Set against the backdrop of the Samoset Resort on the Ocean in Rockport Maine, over 60 wedding professionals will be on hand to assist you with your wedding plans.

Enjoy Coastal wedding décor, a professional designer tablescape competition, full length fashion show as well as a cake cutting ceremony of a Steven Watts creation from Sweet Sensations and the 3 Dogs Café and a chance to win wedding rings from the Michael Good Gallery in Rockport will be some of the great events taking place all day.

The show hours are from 11:00am-3:00pm and admission is $ 5.00 per person. Brides will receive welcome packets with tons of information and ideas. Congratulations on your upcoming wedding and we look forward to helping you create the wedding of your dreams.

Coming from points South

Follow Rt 1 North

After driving through downtown Rockland

Watch for a VIP auto parts store on your right

Take immediate right after VIP (Waldo Avenue)

Follow Waldo Avenue till the Samosets main entrance (on your right)

Coming from points North

Follow Rt 1 South

Cross into Rockland at City’s limit (Wal-mart on your left, Home Depot on your right)

Continue about a ½ mile and at the traffic light just past Tim Horton’s Coffee take a left (Waldo Avenue)

Follow Waldo Avenue till the Samosets Main entrance (on your right)

Coming from Points West

Follow Rt 17 East

At the intersection of Rt 17 and 1 (McDonalds will be on your left) take a left

Follow Rt 1 north about ¼ of a mile and take immediate right after VIP Auto parts (Waldo Avenue)

Follow Waldo Avenue till the Samosets main entrance (on your right)
